    RING ONE<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 Showjumping<\/strong>               To commence at 10:30 (May \u2013 August Only)<\/strong>             <\/p>\r\n

    1CR Showjumping Starter Clear Round<\/strong> raised poles and\/or not exceeding 30cm only. Any suitable height horse\/pony, rider any age. Riders may be accompanied in the ring or may be led by an adult (16+ and appropriately dressed). No points awarded for this class. \u00a35 per entry.<\/p>\r\n

    1HH Hobby Horse Showjumping<\/strong> one round against the clock. Class start time to be confirmed on Show Day but will not be before 11:30. This class is pre-entry or entry on the day. The overall winning Hobby Horse for the season will be invited to STARS to be the Club\u2019s mascot. \u00a32 per entry.<\/p>\r\n

      To commence on completion of the Showjumping classes and not before 2:00pm. Fence heights will be decided based upon entered competitors. Classes must be pre-entered and will only run if four or more<\/strong> entries are received.<\/p>\r\n

      1. Speed \u2013 One round against the clock. Four seconds will be added for each fence knocked down or refused.<\/li>\r\n
      2. Mixed Pairs \u2013 Both competitors begin in the start box. When the bell rings, one competitor begins and jumps the course and then returns to \u2018tag\u2019 the next competitor out of the box. Four seconds will be added for each fence knocked down or refused.<\/li>\r\n
      3. Horse and Hound \u2013 One round horse & rider and one round dog & handler. Four seconds will be added for each fence knocked down or refused.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

        The best rider, selected by the judge in each class at each show, will not necessarily be a placed competitor.<\/p>\r\n

        RING TWO<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 Working Hunter<\/u>          Classes to commence at 09:30<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

        Competitors complete one round of jumping and, at the judge\u2019s discretion, will complete an individual show.<\/p>\r\n

        Body protectors must be worn by ALL competitors. If carried, padded baton whips only are permitted.<\/p>\r\n

        • In Working Hunter classes a pony must be 153cm and under and may be ridden by a competitor of any age.<\/li>\r\n
        • In Working Hunter classes a horse must exceed 153cm and may be ridden by a competitor of any age.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

          A minimum of two fences in each class must be of the maximum height.<\/p>\r\n

          • <\/strong>\u00ab<\/strong> Lead Rein Working Hunter <\/strong>max height of fences 30cm. Pony must be 128cm and under.                           Classes 4.1 \u2013 4.7 are aimed at true beginners, both children and adults, and not at those also entering other open showing or jumping classes (unless transitioning from the lead-rein). Please enter these classes in the spirit in which they are intended. This may be considered when judging.<\/p>\r\n

                          Competitors do not need to wear full and correct showing attire but must be smartly dressed and wearing a long sleeved top, smart trousers\/jodhpurs, suitable footwear and a riding hat. Competitors can enter on the lead-rein or have assistance from an adult (16+ and appropriately dressed).<\/p>\r\n

                          • <\/strong>\u00ab<\/strong> Best Turned Out<\/strong> competitors must enter ridden (including lead rein). An individual show is not required.<\/li>\r\n
